As a project progresses from inception through to planning, we are able to engage with key stakeholders to ensure that the developing fire strategy is aligned with the wider project goals and coordinated with the design team. In the process, we are able to engage the authorities having jurisdiction to establish their buy-in to the proposals and to manage any approvals risk associated with more complex or unusual proposals.
Representation on a number of strategic fire safety committees means we, and our clients, are aware of any proposed changes to guidance documents and current best practice. These include Heritage Special Interest Groups, Technical Services Advisory Group for the Institution of Fire Engineers, the Arson Control Forum, National Association of Healthcare Fire Officers and many others. Our fire strategies therefore support innovative and cost effective building design for the full life cycle of the building:
Regular engagement with the fire engineering industry through presentations and guest speaking.
Committee members of Fire Safety Federation, Institute of Fire Engineers Technical Services etc
Involvement in legislation – Trenton Fire are the authors of the following Codes & Standards: FCO Fire Safety Code, Crown Fire Standards, Fire Precautions for Construction Works on the Government Estate
